I have a Craftsman rotary push-type mower with a 4.5 HP Briggs & Stratton engine. I tried to start it today after about 6 months of disuse. I had left a little fuel in the tank over the winter. The engine fires up for a couple of seconds after I push the primer a few [...] Mine is emitting a black sooty type substance, only just noticed it today. It’s mainly on the handles and along the sides of the mower…It is running fine – no issues apart from this…Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this problem? Okay I just bought a Craftsman Rotary Lawn Mower Model #917376220 and when I used it was really hard to push and it felt heavy! Any thoughts on how to help me fix it? Please!! Anyone! I noticed the substance on the handles and side of lawnmower…It ran fine – no other issues…Any ideas what could be causing a problem like this? |
