Why Is My Lawn Mower Shooting Smoke Out The Side?

After purchasing the oil (I made sure that it is the right kind), I put in my lawnmower. I started my mower and started to shoot smoke out the side a bit so I stopped and I realized the setting too much oil. Then I switched on my mower and took much of the oil. I started again and it still smoked out the side, but finally stopped after a few seconds (30ish). I then proceeded mowing and after a while it stopped so I checked the oil and there was not enough oil. I put in more oil and then when I started again it started to shoot smoke again later. What's going on?

Why Choose an Electric Lawnmower?

The choices on the market for electric lawnmowers can be quite initimidating, but it’s worth doing your research. They really are a very energy efficient and clean way to keep your lawn down without the need for fossil fuels directly. Of course the most efficient is the manual lawnmower where you provide the energy but that’s not always practical.

The new Quiet and Efficient Electric Lawnmower

The new Quiet and Efficient Electric Lawnmower

there’s one thing for sure that the electric lawnmower is generally a lot quieter than it’s petrol counterpart. From the minute you just press a button compared to the usual hefty tug on a cord, electric is oh so much easier. The sound level is also a very important consideration for many, even slight differences in decibel ratings are extremely significant when you have to listen to them for a long time whilst cutting your lawn – a 10 decibel difference can mean something is almost twice as loud.
Reliability of your Lawnmower
Don’t get persuaded into the belief that the more you spend, the more reliable and long lasting your lawnmower will be. Reliability relies on many factors, even routine maintenance has a big effect on how long your mower will last. This will inevitably require more practical skills with a petrol lawnmower. Electric lawnmower generally require less maintenance other than keeping the blades clean and sharp.
Spare parts and Servicing
Is another often overlooked area, some spare parts can be extremely difficult to find, I have a very expensive petrol Hayter mower which is currently unusable due to the requirement of a small rubber bulb. This has been a nightmare to find even going through the ‘official Hayter suppliers”
Generally though the bigger the name, the easier you’ll normally find spare parts and replacements which are required for instance these Rotak spare blades

Experts usually suggest that most powered mowers last between 5-7 years, the much smaller routine maintenance of a cord and battery mower is paid for perhaps in a slightly shorter life. Certainly I have seen many petrol mowers lasting into a second decade, electric motors tend to eventually fail especially if underpowered for the conditions they are used in.
But remember the cost, my favourite cheap, and in my opinion best electric lawnmower – the Bosch Rotak range cost much less than the average petrol mower. Of my mowers the one I wil always take out of the shed when it’s time to cut the lawn is always my extremely inexpensive Bosch Rotak 40!
In a larger garden or one with lots of obstacles you might actually find it worthwhile investing in a battery powered mower, these are a little more expensive due to the cost of the batteries however if you get a good one they are a joy to use.

Bosch AHS 6000 Pro T - Hedgecutter
Amazon. co. uk The Bosch hedge cutter comes a good cut. The 60cm long blade makes cutting easy. What I also liked was the power cut. He was able to cut through branches with at least 2 to 3cm in diameter. Obviously this product has been designed with the end user in mind. I always thought about buying a petrol version, more for my garden, but with a good extension, it's just work. Overall, I would say that this product is ve

The Bosch Battery Lawn Mower – Bosch Rotak 37

If you purchased a lawnmower battery a few years ago, there’s a very big chance you’ve been disappointed. They have often been undercharged with very little power and would often run out of charge halfway through the lawn. Bosch tools have been producing battery producing tools for many years and have now released a new range of lawnmowers using this technology.

The range of Battery powered lawnmowers have been well received by many critics. They are well built and powerful – making grass cutting work much simpler than previously. If you buy a standard electric lawn mower you still have to endure the annoying cord. Depending on your lawn layout lawn this can make mowing the lawn a difficult prospect. Bosch has produced a reliable lithium battery that has enough power for most peoples needs. The lithium battery contains enough power to mow an average lawn size easily. So how long this mower battery last? Well, it obviously varies depending on the length of the grass, but on a full charge the Bosch Rotak Li will last approximately 22 minutes. Thats quite a decent time and version 37 inch blade – the Bosch Rotak Li 37, you should be able to cut about 450 square meters of lawn.

Of course, you can remove the battery backup if needed and that the battery can be recharged in about an hour. Bosch has made an excellent battery lawn mower that works extremely well and makes cutting the lawn a breeze. Of course, for a large lawn that the battery may now be fairly even with the 43 "version of the Bosch Rotak 43. The lawnmower battery will always be more expensive than standard electric version because of the technology in the lithium battery, but it really does lawn mowing easier without cable.
