Bosch AHS 6000 Pro T – Hedgecutter
Amazon. co. uk The Bosch hedge cutter comes a good cut. The 60cm long blade makes cutting easy. What I also liked was the power cut. He was able to cut through branches with at least 2 to 3cm in diameter. Obviously this product has been designed with the end user in mind. I always thought about buying a petrol version, more for my garden, but with a good extension, it's just work. Overall, I would say that this product is ve…

I have a fairly new 26cc gas (petrol) Powered hedge trimmer. He struggled with my blankets and trimming tasks. I saw this Bosch AHS 6000 Pro T in my local dealer. I had read good reviews of it and I was impressed by the opening 34 mm maximum blade because the blade gap to close my hedge trimmer gas seemed to be a big part of the problem. The dealer said that for big chores gasoline is more powerful and better. I choose to ignore this advice and I am very glad I did.
It cuts much better and the blade does not stall on the thick branches. It feels so much lighter. Very importantly, it is much safer. The moment you take either hand grip, the motor is disengaged and a brake stops the blade instantly, while the engine itself takes a second or two to stop. Of course, gas hedge trimmer has a centrifugal clutch, if the rotating mass of the motor must slow significantly before stopping disc blade.
This machine has virtually no vibration compared to the 2-cycle gas hedge trimmer. This is a major advantage. Vibration at 12,000 rpm is not at all good for the hands and arms.
The engine is rated by the manufacturer at 700W and 746W = 1HP. Thus, the real o / p should be somewhat less than 1HP, however it strongly out performs the claimed 1. 2HP gas machine.
The only downside is dealing with the power cable. I'll have to invest in a reel big enough cable. It takes longer to deal with the cable to add 2-cycle and begin to mix the gas trimmer, but overall it is a much better user experience.
I can not comment on longevity, as this machine is still new. It seems well done.
Before purchasing this product I was using an old cutter, electric fences tired of my mother-in-laws leylandii funds. You had to force in the hedge, and almost saw.
This is like using a lightsaber from Star Wars. Touch the blade against the fence and cut it – simple as that. It's almost a pleasure to cut the hedge now (well almost).
It cuts easily through a large privet hedge, (100 ft by 8 ft high). It is on the heavy side, but this is more than offset by the ease of cutting through a dense high hedge. It's a dream to use after having struggled with hedge trimmers smaller that could not cope with the size of the branches. I recommend it.
