I Have Broken My Lawn Mower And Wondered If There Was A Way To Fix It?
I have a Black and Decker Rotary Lawnmower – GR3420. While reajusting the handle bars I accidentally severed the wire connecting the hand controls to the body. Is there any way to reconnect this severed wire?

if there is anuf wire to strip on both ends the best fix it to to strip a small Peace on both ends and put some heat shrink over it, twist the wire together and slide the heat shrink over it then heat it up i use a lighter it will give you a waterproof seal that will last forever you can get the heat shrink at a local parts store or walmart for a few dollars just make sure you use a peace of heat shrink that is close to the same diameter as the wire
take it to a lawnmower service place, they will fix it for you. A mower has quite a powerful electric motor, working in an often damp environment, not something for the user to try to fix himself
they must get asked to repair the wires quite often if the wire is so easy to break
If it is an electrical wire, strip a small section of both ends of the wire and and attach together with a wire nut. If it is a cable, you can purchase a cable connector at any hardware store, or just replace the cable.
you dont need the wires.just manually adjust the throttle.have to cut all the wires off for that.now if you broke the wire that shuts it off you will have to take the plug off the magneto.might have to remove that part as well.
I would just buy a new piece of wire, should not be difficult.
whell all you have to do is if you cut the cable switch off at the mains grab a pair of cable strimers you can buy some from any good shop like motorsave wotton basset
you also get a wire conector get the two brown wires and put them in the same end of the connector and then repeat the step on the other two wires then your fuse hase probly blowen so get a fuse the same rating as the blowen put the new one in and make shore the wires are tight then plug it in and you are off
