Why Doesn’t My Honda Lawn Mower Start After Replacing Crankshaft?

I replaced a crankshaft on my Honda HR216 Lawn Mower and now it doesn’t start. What did I do wrong? Replaced the spark plug and the air cleaner to no avail. HELP. With all this rain I will have to get a few goats to keep my lawn in good shape.
